What’s in a Strength and Conditioning Workout?

Strength and conditioning workouts are unique in that they can be tailored to any sport. Unlike all-purpose workouts, young athletes will hone their form, focus on technique, and build strength. For many sports, acceleration, max velocity, and quickness off the mark are essential. Because younger athletes need conditioning at different points in their career and sports season, a good trainer who works with this age range can recognize fitness gaps and potential and help individuals reach their best.

How Does Strength and Conditioning Training Work?

Aimed at younger athletes, versus those in the prime of their career or those who are casually working out, Strength and Conditioning sessions take into consideration the individual sport. From there, we look at your current levels of fitness and work toward your strengths. Youth trainer Raffael Bradshaw has helped countless top-tier athletes find their peak and apply it on the field.

To get started, you can sign up here (if you know which class you want to take.) If you’re not sure what will be best for you or your child, you can drop us a line via online form and we can help you get sorted and into the right class.  From there, you will start sessions where you will work directly with Coach Bradshaw.

Fitness Classes are taken by a wide range of people and are meant for adults of all ages. This means both casual and serious exercise enthusiasts alike. Athletes at a very specific time in their lives benefit greatly from specific exercise, especially as it pertains to their chosen sport. While almost anyone of the appropriate age can benefit from taking part in a Fitness Class, Strength and Conditioning is for the serious student-athlete and is tailored to that individual.
