Frequently Asked Questions About Personal Training

This is a decision that can be made between you and your trainer. It can vary from person to person, but it’s very common to see a trainer at least once or twice a week. For some people, that may not nearly be as much attention as they need. For others, once a week might work great because they are either too busy or using the other days of the week in fitness classes.

This will highly depend on the trainer. In order to find out how much a training session costs for a specific trainer, you should reach out to us here.

Personal trainers work with individuals at the level of training that is most appropriate for that individual. A trainer will assess your fitness and strength, go over your goals, and help you set a time and schedule to work out together. Your trainer will work on form and technique so that even when you’re not training together, you are empowered to do those workouts on your own if desired. A trainer is there to help you stay motivated, hold you accountable to your goals, and keep you engaged and interested.

This is another one of those things that depend on the individual. You may not be looking for a long-term commitment. Maybe you are an athlete in town for the summer. Maybe you just want to learn some workouts then start doing them independently. Or maybe you need that extra person for years and years to come, and it ends up being an important relationship for you. The answer can be anywhere from (usually) a good 10 or so sessions until it feels to you like your training is ready to come to an end.

Like other gyms that have qualified, certified trainers, Evolution looks for committed and professional trainers who have a lot of experience and passion. But our Long Island gym has a lot of specialized equipment, a number of special coaches, and even works with professional athletes, thus we attract some of the very best trainers on the East Coast. We’re great at helping people avoid injury and max their gains, reach their potential, and truly embrace a healthy and fit lifestyle. If you really want the best, we are at the top of the ladder with our training and coaching.

To buy training packages, set up training times or dates, or have any questions related to personal training answered, you can drop us a line on the contact page, found here. You can also email us at officefarmingdale@evolution-pt.com.
